Local Training Leader offers Red Hat Training and Certification Classes
Local DC area training leader now offers authorized Red Hat training classes.
September 12, 2011 /E-Learning PR News/ -- The Academy of Computer Education (ACE), considered a leader of training in the demanding and rapidly-evolving field of information technology, has recently formed a partnership to provide a certification class in the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) program. This performance-driven Red Hat training course is specifically designed to test the skills necessary to become a system administrator in Red Hat technology.
RHSCA was created to replace the original Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) program. The change stemmed from the fact that the qualification level of RHCT technicians allowed them to easily transition to the position of system administrator. Because of their qualifications, they were often referred to as "administrators". In fact, graduates of the RHCT program often earned more than administrators who had obtained a certification from another vendor, placing them above the mere title of technician.
To assure that only the most qualified system administrators would be certified, Red Hat conducted an intensive research program, surveying individuals throughout the world who had received certification in the program. Focus groups concentrated on improving the certification process and keeping it up to date, while at the same time input was taken from a variety of sources, with the information contributing to the creation of the RHCSA certification program.
Although the RHCT and RHCSA programs are not identical, some of the skills included in the former have been added to the latter, and vice versa. This combining of skills has helped to more clearly define the goals of both programs. And because of the relationship between the programs, an applicant will need to display certain
skills as a Linux administrator in order to earn an RHCSA. The testing process available from ACE is completely "hands-on" and takes half-a-day to complete, and the courses for each program can either be obtained independently or together.
At ACE, the RHCSA training class is conducted over a span of five days, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ACE offers the RHCSA certification class through its partner location in Columbia, MD or at client locations throughout the U.S.
Anyone seeking computer training should consider ACE for the comprehensive, instructor-led, hands-on classes that they offer. For more information about ACE, call 1-877-564-8724
