The Emerging Markets Scholarship at London School of Business and Finance
London School of Business and Finance created a specialised Scholarship for applicants from emerging markets.
LONDON, ENGLAND, January 20, 2010 /E-Learning PR News/ -- The Emerging Markets Scholarship is available for BIB, MBA, MIB and Masters Programmes and its amount varies from GBP 1000 to GBP 8000.
LSBF is proud to have a Royal Patron, His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent GCVO, who has generously agreed to support a unique scholarship scheme to encourage the most perspective students from the emerging markets to study for a Bachelor or Master degree in London. Prince Michael plays an important role in maintaining the School's reputation as one of the most dynamic educational institutions in London. The Scholarship is one of the LSBF Scholarship Programmes designed specially for candidates from the emerging market countries.
The Scholarship is available for a wide range of Programmes at London School of Business and Finance: BIB (Bachelor in International Business); MBA; MBA + Professional Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CIM); MIB (Master in International Business); MIB + Professional Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CIM); and Masters Programmes (Master in Finance, Master in Investment Banking and Securities, Master in Finance and Investment Management, Master in M&A and Corporate Restructuring, Master in Pension and Fund Management). The Emerging Markets Scholarship award varies from GBP 1000 to GBP 8000 depending on the Programme.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Emerging Markets Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Show a proven history of academic excellence;
- Meet the English requirements of the programme they are applying for;
- Provide proof of sufficient funds to pay the remaining course fees;
- Applicants must have already applied for a programme at LSBF;
- Applicants must be classified as an international student and not residing in the UK.
To be awarded the scholarship, applicants must demonstrate how they will contribute to the economic development of their emerging market.
Deadlines
Scholarships are awarded on an ongoing basis, but you will have to ensure your application has been received by LSBF before the deadlines. The deadline for Spring Intake is 29th January 2010.
Please note that The Emerging Markets Scholarship is awarded only in the form of a reduction in tuition fees payable to LSBF and do NOT include a contribution towards living costs, travel or other expenses.
