Educational assessment and evaluation firm celebrates 30 years of providing high-quality assessment and research services.
NEW HOPE, PA, January 27, 2009 /E-Learning PR News/ -- SEG Assessment | SEG Research (www.scottelliotgroup.com) today announced plans for celebrating its 30 years of service to the assessment and evaluation community. 2009 marks SEG's 30th year of delivering assessment and evaluation services to educational publishers, assessment providers, credentialing bodies and state education agencies.
"We are very pleased to have been able to support education for the past 30 years and look forward to the next 30." said Scott Elliot, President of SEG. "We remain committed to the belief that high-quality assessment and evaluation can make a measurable difference in the lives of students, teachers and all those involved in education and credentialing."
The milestone will be recognized with a year-long celebration that will include several components. The celebration has at its theme: "making a measurable difference in assessment and evaluation quality for three decades"
SEG plans to issue a series of white papers discussing issues in evaluation and assessment from a historical perspective. "There have been many changes in assessment and evaluation since 1979, but the core principles that drive good evaluation and assessment remain the same" said Elliot.
All collateral and correspondence will include special branding and a special version of the SEG logo with the updated tag line "1979-2009: Making a measurable difference for 30 years." A party marking the milestone is planned for the summer of 2009.
