Giving Our Youth More Than Offered In Traditional School Cirriculums
The national high school dropout rate is higher than ever before. Our youth are walking away from traditional education, some feel the system is failing to prepare them to realistically and successfully take on the world. MSDM.... is unraveling the norm... to achieve the extraordinary.
/E-Learning PR News/ - SAVANNAH, GA, September 21, 2008 - The national high school dropout rate is higher than ever before. Our youth are walking away from traditional education, for various reasons, one being, they feel the system is failing to prepare them to realistically and successfully take on the world.
The MSDM program is a virtual program, designed to not replace traditional education, but compliment it. The program is done completely online. With each enrollee expected to actively participate on a weekly basis, dedicating roughly 6 to 8 hours per week, allowing total flexibility in regards to time and schedules.
The complete program contains 3 levels, with each level containing sessions that stretch over 6 months, upon the completion of each level, each enrollee will receive a certificate of completion for that level and a plague upon the completion of all 3 levels. Awards, honors and recognition will also be given to enrollees who show stellar participation.
Involvement in the following courses involve Webinair presentations, responding to forums, submission of required research, written presentations, and also interacting with instructors and fellow enrollees.
Course include the following:
Biblical Literature - The Bible's academic value now widely recognized: Recent national media coverage shows overwhelming support among educators for Bible literacy courses in public high school, unfortunately still not offered everywhere. Research shows that students' ability to understand literature, art, history and music and culture is harmed by ignorance of this foundational document of Western civilization.
Career Path & Industry Awareness - Assists our youth in, discovering their talents, and skills, along with how best they can be utilized. Stressing the importance of obtaining full knowledge of not just a designated career, but the entire industry, to insure that goals and aspirations are realistically and properly set.
Basic of Financing & Investing - In our course we cover financial instruments such as mortgages, stocks, bonds, equities, commodities, options, as well as, the basics of a financial balance sheets, and general accounting basics. We believe if you prepare someone for success and fail to prepare them to handle that success, you've failed to prepare them.
The Foundation of Entrepreneurship - In our program we address the following: The History of Entrepreneurship, The Entrepreneur (characteristics, habits, and the mind of), Contributions of Entrepreneurs , Advantages and Disadvantage of Entrepreneurship & Funding Options.
Personal & Professional Etiquette - The etiquette portion of our curriculum, is an overview of expected decorum in various situations, and also covers instruction concerning correspondence etiquette regarding email, written, and verbal correspondence.
